The Power of Comments and a Thank You!

So my alarm went off this morning and I soooooo didn't want to get up and go to the gym. I grabbed my phone and checked for messages (hoping that my workout buddy was skipping and that I could too) when I saw a comment from Annie.

It was enough to push me out of bed and to the gym so THANK YOU Annie!!!! My workout today was dedicated to you!

It is funny how comments can change the whole game. I remember when I first started blogging and there were no comments and no followers. I knew they would come eventually but it was hard at first because it just felt like one more thing I was doing on my own. Then, the fabulous Amy, linked my blog to hers and the comments and followers started flowing in. I will be the first to admit that I don't comment nearly as often as I should. Since I read at work (shhhh don't tell anyone) it makes it difficult to do but I am going to make a concentrated effort to comment more.

It could change someone's day....I know your comments have changed mine.

Thanks for your topic today. I'm a new blogger and I know what you mean about no comments!(heck I'm still trying to figure out how to get a picture to show up when I comment on someone's blog! lol)

It's nice to know that others started out the same way...waiting to grow new friendships.

Thanks again,

Sandra

I love comments! At least I know someone, somewhere is reading what I put out there.
I am glad you got to your work-out. Good for you.

Comments are the best! I haven't been doing enough of them lately. I read on my phone at work, so commenting is a pain. :(

I agree! It feels so good. I hate when blogger doesn't let you comment.

You have been such an inspiration to me. I look forward to your blog so much. I read for a while here before I got the courage up to start my own.

I am amazed people care what I have to say to follow me. I figure if I can help one other person then my blog was worth even more. It certainly helps me.

Thanks for being YOU!!
