Ode To the Old Ragged Sports Bra

To my dear ragged sports bra,

Who ran with me on my very first race.

 

I found you in the dresser drawer,

Tucked behind a bra with lace.

With trembling hands I thought I’d try

To see if you still fit.

And with disbelief I slipped you on,

And the seams they did not split.

I’ve missed the way you held me tight,

You kept the bounce at bay.

And that my friends is how I share
